Liverpool poised to sign Minamino
Liverpool is poised to secure the services of Red Bull Salzburg winger Takumi Minamino in the January transfer window, the Liverpool Echo reports. The 24-year-old Japan international has caught the eye in the Champions League this season, including scoring in his side’s 4-3 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield in October. With a release clause of just £7.75m, well below his true market value, the deal would represent a significant steal for the Reds. Juventus director issues update amid Pogba rumours
Juventus are not set to move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in January; with club director Fabio Paratici stating the Italian champions will not complete business in the transfer market.

“As I have already said several times, we have a very competitive and complete squad. We have Emre Can and we have (Sami) Khedira who will come back, so we have no intention of operating on the market.”

“I’m in the middle of the season and I try not to think about it so as not to lose focus on the field. My agent and the club are talking and I hope we can have some good news soon.”
