Chelsea eye Dembele and Werner
Chelsea reportedly sent scouts to watch strikers Moussa Dembele and Timo Werner on Tuesday evening, as Frank Lampard’s looks to bolster his attacking options in January.
The Blues had their transfer ban lifted last week and according to the Daily Mail, Lampard is keen to bring in a striker as competition for Tammy Abraham and help them in their Premier League and Champions League campaigns.
Dembele has been linked to Manchester United in previous windows and is valued around £40m, while Werner has been continually linked with Liverpool in recent years, with a fee of £52m believed to be enough to land him.
