Karim Benzema has once again been linked with a move to Arsenal despite pledging his future to Real Madrid just last week. The former Lyon forward has been admired by Arsène Wenger and it has now been made clear that if Arsenal offer enough money and ‘fight’ for Benzema, they are in pole position to sign the £50 million rated Frenchmen. It is also believed that Benzema is not the only striker on Arsenal’s radar and that Edinson Cavani is being touted as an easier target. The Uruguayan is set to fly into London for a medical according to the Spanish website Fichajes.net. With Mathieu Flamini not considered good enough and Jack Wilshere perennially injured Wenger feels that Lars Bender is the perfect man to anchor Arsenal’s midfield and is interested in signing him. Arsenal have lost out to Real Madrid in the race to sign Dani Ceballos.
