Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has addressed reports linking him to Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.
The Spaniard’s future at Old Trafford is currently uncertain with his contract set to expire in three months.
He has also been discussing Lionel Messi ahead of United’s huge Champions League clash with FC Barcelona.
Herrera: “I do not know if my stage (at Man United) is over”
Herrera has admitted he is unsure what will happen with his future in the summer.
Whilst the 29-year-old claims he is enjoying life at United, a move elsewhere is also possible.
Both Arsenal and PSG have been linked with the midfielder.
Herrera told El Periodico:
“It is logical (to be linked with other clubs) when you have three months of contract (left).
“I already knew something was going to come out.
“I take it as normal, I focus on playing football in the month-and-a-half (of the season) that remains.
“The rest is left to my agent, both the possible renewal with United and if you talk to another club for my departure.
“I do not go crazy with what will happen in four months, so I do not know if my stage (at Man United) is over.
“I enjoy being at the biggest club in England, the fans love me, they have treated me phenomenally and my duty is to listen to them, although I honestly do not know what is going to happen.”
Herrera on Messi: “There is none like him”
Herrera also told El Periodico that Lionel Messi is the best player in the history of football.
He added:
“The team (Barcelona) has the best player (Messi) in history.
“For me, the most decisive I have ever seen in my life, and I have played and faced the best, but there is none like him.”
