Odds drop on Man United signing Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos

Man United & Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos

A couple of days ago, rumours starting flying about that Man United could sign Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos.

The 29-year-old German World Cup winner is under contract at Los Blancos until 2022.

However Kroos has yet to score in La Liga this season. In 21 league games, the midfielder has chipped in with three assists.

Kroos has only scored once in all competitions and that was in the Champions League.

Will Zinedine Zidane be keen on selling Kroos at the end of the season?

The Sun linked Man United with the Madrid maestro, telling readers:

Manchester United can sign long-term target Toni Kroos from Real Madrid for just £50million this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in Kroos and are reportedly lining up a £68m summer bid.

Odds crash on Kroos to Old Trafford

The Red Devils could finally be about to land Toni Kroos in a sensational summer deal, according to Ladbrokes.

The Spanish giants are seemingly set on bringing Miralem Pjanic to the Santiago Bernabeu, paving the way for Man United to strike a deal for their long-term target.

And the bookies have this morning cut odds on Kroos swapping Madrid for Manchester to just 7/4 from 5/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It looks as though Kroos may finally jump ships with a mega-money move to Manchester potentially on the cards.”

Paul Pogba

The Spanish press have claimed on Monday that Paul Pogba could be looking to leave Man United.
