When is ₤42.5 Million Not Enough?

Benzema has been expected leave the Bernabeu with suggestions that Benitez could move Cristiano Ronaldo into the centre-forward position.

It has been claimed that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is willing to spend even more than the £42.5million he splashed out to take Mesut Ozil from Real in order to capture Benzema.

But Benitez maintains Benzema remains part of his plans and hinted that he could be bringing in a back-up or even a partner for the Frenchman.
